Fiesta San Antonio

Fiesta San Antonio

Now that fiesta in San Antonio has come to an end with a reported 3.5 million visitors, the fashions in and around San Antonio were amazing.

I found that with 2 parades – the Battle of Flowers day parade and the night parade, Fiesta Flambeau – the maxi dress was the winner. The maxi dress with or without a jacket was perfect for the Texas weather, rain or shine.  Adding a blue jean jacket as I did allows you go from day to night in no time with out feeling overdressed!  The final touch is pairing it with great sandals or wedges.  This maxi dress was fabulous in Market Square and perfect for all the festive events.

In Market Square, not only is the shopping great for authentic Mexican souvenirs  but we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to visit the world known and historic Mi Terra Restaurant.  Mi Terra is known for the great food, visiting celebrities and of course their bakery.  You can’t leave there without getting some sweet bread or “pan dulce” as we call it here in San Antonio.  So as the 10 fiesta filled days come to an end, this year’s fashion was better than ever with very colorful and festive outfits.  I can’t wait until next year.  Proud to be from San Antonio!  VIVA FIESTA!
